Luke and I finished our house…enough to move in at least! We did a lot of the remodeling ourselves so it was a huge project, and we learned a lot…including to accept that things don’t always go as planned, and that a home is a forever project lol.

We still have a lot of decorating to do, but we’ve mostly finished the bedroom, and I’m so happy with how it came out!
I went to see Fleetwood Mac with Andy in Dallas! It was epic and we also ate a bunch of delicious food and went to a rad used book store in Denton–check out my post about the trip to see more photos.
I started a Youtube channel! So far I’ve posted a few home videos like Fleetwood Mac and this birthday one as well as some random painting ASMR videos. If you have any suggestions on what you’d like to see on it in 2020 let me know. I’d like to try some cooking videos at some point…but we need to finish the kitchen first.

Luke, Julien, and I went to Hamilton Pool for the first time! I’d been meaning to go for years–it was beautiful. I want to explore more nature spots in 2020.

I published 35 blog posts!
Some of my favorites this year were the cosplay posts–I cosplayed Cassie Howard/Alabama Worley, Sookie Stackhouse, and Cheryl Blossom, and I created a Cheleven cosplay mash-up. I also posted two cosplay throwbacks (Buffy and Lilly Kane), and did a Jessica Hamby inspired makeup post.

I visited Ely in Los Angeles! While I was there, I got my aura photographed (check out my post about it to see the photo) and we ate a bunch of tasty vegan food (which I also wrote a post about here.)

I went to see the Backstreet Boys with Erin! I also saw them when I was in 6th grade, so it was quite the throwback and so much fun!

I went to a pumpkin patch for the first time (I think?!), and then Luke, Laura, and I carved epic pumpkins for Halloween.

I went to San Antonio twice to visit family (I’ve written about what I ate during the first trip and will probably do a post on the second trip as well.) I also went on a girls trip with my sister and aunt to Galveston–I didn’t post any photos of it, but it was a blast.
What were some of your highlights of 2019? Let me know in the comments!
