Hey everyone! How’s spring treating you? I’m loving this beautiful Texas weather, and I had fun doing some of my favorite things on my birthday recently. I made a video showing some of it if you want to check it out:
First, we went to have my favorites, mac and cheese and the daily cheese plate, at Counter Culture. The daily cheese plate was a truffle cheese, and it was delicious as always.

Next we went vintage shopping at Revival Vintage and Room Service Vintage–I got a cute brass cat friend, which I’ve decided to name B, after one of my friends who met up with us (she didn’t want to be in the video, but she does exist! lol) Room Service Vintage is one of my favorite vintage stores–it’s where I found my amazing vintage mushroom light, and I’ve found some cool things at Revival Vintage as well.

Then we went to get coffee at Flightpath Coffee (not shown in the video) for a pick me up, and then to Zucchini Kill/Yarrow & Sage (they’re connected) to pick up my cookie cake.

Zucchini Kill is an all vegan and gluten free bakery, and this is my 3rd birthday getting a cookie cake from there. I love cookie cakes so much–I used to get the ones from the mall for my birthday as a kid.
Afterwards we went to The Vegan Nom for tacos/nachos. It was my first time going there for dinner, and I didn’t realize they don’t have breakfast tacos all day, and those are my favorite, so next time I want to go before 4pm so I can get them.
Finally, we went to see Captain Marvel–it was my second time seeing it and Luke’s first. It’s my favorite of the Marvel movies, and Luke said it was his too. Have you seen it yet? Have you been to any of the places we went? Let me know in the comments.
