Let’s talk about (vegan and cruelty free) eyeshadow palettes!
I answered the eye shadow palette questions (created by Allie Glines and Samantha March) in a video on my Youtube channel, but I’ll also summarize the answers in this post if anyone wants to read it instead of watching. All of the palettes I’m talking about are vegan and cruelty free of course!
Palette Tag Questions:
What is your newest palette?

My newest palette is the Juvia’s Place The Violets Eyeshadow Palette, a mini palette with six purple shades. I got this palette recently because I’ve been feeling nostalgic and wanting to bring back makeup things I loved in High School like purple eye shadow. I looked for a purple similar to one I used to have from Mac and found this gorgeous palette. I’m excited to play with it!
What is your oldest palette?

My oldest palette is the Kat Von D Serpentina palette–one of my friends got it for me in 2016. I don’t really use it anymore because it’s expired, but I also wonder if eye shadow really expires or not. I’ve heard some people say it does and others say it doesn’t–if you have an opinion please comment and let me know.
What is your most expensive palette?

My most expensive palette is the Lemonhead LA Spacecase Pro-Palette. I found Lemonhead LA glitter when I was looking into what kind of glitter the makeup artists on Euphoria used while doing my Cassie Howard/Alabama Worley cosplay. At first I ordered a couple of glitters, but then I fell in love with them and splurged on the palette during a Black Friday sale.
What is your most affordable palette?

My most affordable palettes are my E.L.F. Bite Size Eyeshadow quads. I have four, but my favorites are Pumpkin Pie and Cream and Sugar. These quads are only $3 each! The shades are gorgeous and perform well for the price, I especially love the shimmer shades.
What is your everyday palette?

My everyday palette is the E.L.F. Cosmetics The New Classics Eyeshadow Palette. The neutral shades are perfect for easy everyday looks, and I love the shimmery shade Cosmo. This is the palette I reach for most right now.
What is your most colorful palette?

My most colorful palettes are the E.L.F. x Jkissa To The Rescue Palette I got recently as well as the Coloured Raine Vivid Pigment Palette.
What is your smallest palette?
My smallest palettes are the E.L.F. Bite Size Eyeshadow quads that I mentioned above.
What is your biggest palette?

My biggest palette is the Tati Beauty Textured Neutrals Vol. 1 Palette. I love this palette, the shimmers and glitters are beautiful, and the color story makes it easy to work with.
What is your palette with the best memory?

My palette with the best memory is the Tarte Rainforest of the Sea Volume III Palette because I wore it while getting married in Las Vegas. Sadly it broke while traveling, and I don’t have it anymore (it was limited edition), but I adored this palette.
What’s a palette not worth the hype?

For me, the Kat Von D Shade & Light Eye Palette (discontinued) wasn’t worth the hype. It wasn’t a bad palette, and I used it a lot when I got it, but I the shadows didn’t perform as well as they should for the price in my opinion.
What’s a palette worth the hype? What’s your favorite palette from a favorite brand? What’s your most used palette?
I’m including these three questions together because these are a repeat for me, the answer for me is the same as my everyday palette–the E.L.F. The New Classics Eyeshadow Palette–it’s a gorgeous, affordable palette with beautiful creamy shades that’s so easy to create looks with, and it’s my favorite palette right now!
Have you tried any of the palettes I mentioned? What are some of your favorite vegan and cruelty free eyeshadow palettes? Let me know in the comments!
