When I read a while back that Hot Topic was coming out with a Buffy the Vampire Slayer clothing line this year, I was beyond excited. BTVS is 20 years old now, and it’s so cool that there are still so many die hard fans, so much so that a lot of the items are already sold out, so I’m glad I stocked up while I had the chance.
Overall I was impressed with the line–I love that they created Buffy’s long red trench coat/Faith’s motorcycle jacket, and all of the details like the B’s on the buttons and embroidered stakes on the collars are rad. I was also glad that the red Buffy jacket and Faith’s jacket were both vegan friendly faux leather–yay!
Here’s me modeling what I got (because why not do a Buffy photo-shoot?!):
Buffy Red Trench-coat
Buffy’s red jacket is iconic, and I’ve wanted to get one similar to hers for a while, but most of the ones I’ve seen are real leather, so I’m so glad they made this one with faux leather!
Still Pretty Tank
I love the “I may be dead, but I’m still pretty” quote, so I was already sold on this tank before I even saw the gorgeous crocheted B stake on the back. Be still my Buffy heart.
Faith Motorcycle Jacket
I’m excited for the weather to cool down so I can wear Faith’s motorcycle jacket! I’ve been meaning to get a new faux leather jacket since I sold my leather one when I went vegan anyways, and this one is extra nerdy awesome!
Willow Fuzzy Sweater
I love Willow’s ridiculous fluffy pink sweater and am excited to wear this one too. It’s not quite accurate to Willow’s pink sweater from Dopplegangland, but it’s still super cute. Is it fall yet?
I also got this sweet heat changing Buffy/Angel mug, which sold out super fast:
Are you a Buffy fan? What did you think of the Hot Topic line? Let me know in the comments!
