Hey everyone! Back in 2017 when I started my blog, I did a monthly favorites series with blog posts that shared my favorites from each month, such as vegan and cruelty free beauty favorites, vegan food and recipe favorites, clothing favorites, TV favorites, etc.
A few people have asked me to bring them back, so I’ve decided to revive my favorites, and this time try them in video form as well. I may do them monthly, or maybe every other month, depending on how much I have to talk about. Please let me know if you enjoy favorites like this, and if you prefer blog posts or videos.

Flower Beauty Blush Bomb Color Drops

The Flower Beauty Blush Bombs are liquid blushes that are easy to apply and blend out and give the prettiest juicy flush to the cheeks. I wear these daily, and they’ve been my favorite vegan blushes for about a year now. I love the shades Pinched, Bubbly, and Melon and enjoy mixing them as well.

E.L.F. Cosmetics The New Classics Eyeshadow Palette

I can’t get enough of the E.L.F. The New Classics Eyeshadow Palette lately. For a quick everyday look, I use the neutral shades like Creme and Truffle in my crease and add my favorite shade Cosmo all over the lid. I also talked about this palette in my recent palette tag post/video so check those out as well if you missed them.

E.L.F. Bite Size Eyeshadows

Another vegan beauty favorite I’ve been loving lately is the E.L.F. Bite Size Eyeshadow quads. Cream and Sugar and Pumpkin Pie are my favorites–the shimmery shades are beautiful, and they’re only $3 each! I also mentioned and swatched these in my recent palette tag video.

Bite Beauty Power Move Creamy Matte Lip Crayons

My favorite lipsticks during July were the Bite Beauty Lip Crayons in Glace and Hard Cider. These lip crayons are creamy, which I appreciate since liquid lipstick tends to dry out my lips. They also have built in sharpeners, so you don’t need a lip liner, which is a plus.

NYX Micro Brow Pencil
For years my favorite brow product was the Anastasia Beverly Hills Brow Wiz, and the NYX Micro Brow Pencil is a dupe for the Brow Wiz–it has a spoolie on one side and a micro brow pencil tip on the other side. It’s easy to create brow hair strokes with, and it’s less than half the price of the Brow Wiz, so I’m really glad I found this product.

Lemonhead LA Spacepaste Glitters

I have quite a few Lemonhead LA glitter shades since I have their Spacecase Pro Palette, but two of my favorites shades are Private School (turquoise) and Adult Film (a disappearing glitter.) I wore Private School in this video as well as for my Cassie/Alabama Worley Euphoria cosplay, and I wore Adult Film in my palette tag video if you want to see it in action.

Clothing Favorites
Dunder Mifflin T-shirt

The Office is my favorite TV Show, and this Dunder Mifflin t-shirt brings me so much joy! (You may have seen me wearing it on Instagram.) I found it in the Men’s section of Target and cut it into a crop top.
Blockbuster T-shirt

Who else misses Blockbuster?! I love this nostalgic Blockbuster t-shirt so much, and like the Dunder Mifflin tee, I also found it in the Men’s section of Target and cut it into a crop top.
Hogwarts T-shirt

As you can tell, my style for the summer could be summed up by “cutting t-shirts from the Men’s section of Target into crop tops.” Unfortunately I couldn’t find a link for this one, but Target constantly has new Harry Potter t-shirts, and in my opinion the cutest ones are usually found in the Men’s department.
American Eagle Mom Jeans

I love these Mom jeans from American Eagle because they have a high waisted 1990’s inspired fit. (I couldn’t find these exact Mom jeans to link but these are similar).
Will’s Vegan Shoes Chicago High Top Sneakers
I adore these high top sneakers from Will’s Vegan Shoes–they have such a fun retro vibe, and they’re very comfortable as well. I wore them walking all over Disney World earlier this year and didn’t get blisters. See photos above of me wearing them.
Vegan Food
The Impossible Burger

A little over a month ago, I saw that Imperfect Foods had Impossible meat available for our weekly deliveries, and since then we’ve been getting it every week, and my husband has been making us Impossible Burgers. They’re SO delicious–if you haven’t tried one yet, you need to!
TV
I am not ok with this

I really enjoyed this Netflix show which stars Sophia Lillis (Beverly from It). The show depicts the main character Syd’s coming of age struggles dealing with family, friendship, her sexuality…with super powers thrown into the mix. I’m looking forward to seeing what happens in the next season.
Books

In July I read five books–I read the last three in the Janie Series by Caroline B. Cooney, a nostalgic series that I read as a kid that I’ve enjoyed re-reading. (I read the first book, The Face on the Milk Carton in June.) I also read Monster by Christopher Pike (I used to love Christopher Pike books as a pre-teen too and have enjoyed re-reading some of them this year.)
My favorite book of the month though was the horror book Cujo by Stephen King–heat is central to this book, so it was an appropriate summer read.
Video/Tidying
The last favorite I have to share is this video about how to set up a file organization structure for video files. Since I’ve been filming videos lately and didn’t have a consistent file structure set up yet, this video was extremely helpful for me. (If you don’t have a file structure set up yet for digial photos, check out this blog post.)
That’s it for my July 2020 favorites! Have you tried any of the things I mentioned? What are some things you’ve been loving lately? Let me know in the comments!
