I love seeing people’s travel makeup essentials, so I thought I’d share mine with y’all. These are all of the products I brought on a recent week-long trip to Disney World. All of the brands are cruelty free (and Logical Harmony approved), and all of the products are vegan (as always!)
Face
Hourglass Veil Mineral Primer (travel size)- I packed this primer because it has an SPF of 15, and although the Cover FX foundation I brought also has SPF, I figured layering couldn’t hurt.
Cover FX Total Cover Cream Foundation (N20)- This is my go-to foundation lately, and it’s also perfect for travel–since it comes in a cream compact, it doesn’t count as a liquid, it doesn’t spill, and it can be easily packed in my purse for touch-ups throughout the day. I don’t typically touch up my foundation, but since I was out 12+ hours every day in the sun and humidity in Florida, touch-ups were essential. It also has SPF 30, which was perfect.
Kat Von D Lock-It Concealer Crème (L5 Neutral)- This is my go-to concealer, so bringing it was a no-brainer.
Kat Von D Lock-It Setting Powder (travel size)- This is also my go-to setting powder, and it comes in a cute mini travel size!
Kat Von D Lock-It Makeup Setting Mist (travel size)- I don’t usually use setting spray, but I got this before my trip because I wanted to make sure my makeup would last. I also brought it in my purse so I could refresh my face throughout the day.
e.l.f. Contouring Blush & Bronzing Powder (St. Lucia)- This is my go-to blush and bronzer, and it’s compact and prefect for travel.
Root White Gold Illuminator– Of course I had to bring my favorite highlight! I also appreciate that it has a sifter that closes, so the powder doesn’t get everywhere during travel.
Eyes
e.l.f. Mad for Matte Eyeshadow Palette– I packed this palette because it’s small and perfect for quick natural looks.
Styli-Style High Impact Series palette (Vol. 2 Precious Metals)- I love this palette, and the Rose Gold shadow is perfect for one color shadow days, and I also use the Pure Copper to match my brows to my hair.
Kat Von D Tattoo Liner (Trooper)- This is my all time fave liner, and it’s waterproof and lasts all day.
Pacifica Magical Multi-pencil (Bare)- I’m glad I brought this one because we often woke up at 5am, and adding this to my waterline helped my eyes look brighter and more awake.
Root 100% Lash Natural & Organic Mascara (Black)- I love this mascara, and it’s also compact and travel friendly.
Anastasia Beverly Hills Brow Wiz (Auburn)- I always use this to do my brows (before adding copper shadow), and I love that it has an attached spooly.
Anastasia Beverly Hills Brow Gel (Clear)- I don’t always use brow gel, but I brought some on my trip because I wanted to make sure my brows stayed in place all day.
Lips
e.l.f. Lip Liner & Blending Brush (Natural)- This lip liner matches my lips and is perfect for pairing with gloss or a lippie stix.
ColourPop Lippie Stix (Button & Topanga)- I love the lippie stix because I can apply them quickly, and they’re not drying.
Styli-Style Go To Gloss (Peach Out)- I had to bring my favorite gloss!
Kat Von D Everlasting Liquid Lipstick & Lip Liner (Outlaw)- I brought these in case I wanted to do a red lip, but I didn’t end up using them.
Brushes
For brushes, I brought the Set & Go, Miss Shady Lady, Eye Catching Crease, Blending Bestie, Mr. Handyman, Pencil Me In, and Just Browsing brushes from my M.O.T.D. Lux Vegan Makeup Brush Set as well as my e.l.f. Ultimate Blending Brush, Everyday Minerals Flat Top Brush, e.l.f. Flawless Concealer Brush, EcoTools Tapered Blush Brush, and Beautyblender Blotterazzi.
What I carried in my bag
Since we were out at the Disney Parks all day in the sun, I brought a little bag in my backpack with my Cover FX Foundation, Everyday Minerals Flat Top Brush to go with it, Blotterazzi to blot off oil and smooth out my makeup, and Kat Von D Setting Mist to freshen up my face, as well as whatever lip color I was wearing that day.
