Terminator 2: Battle Across Time Inspired Makeup (Vegan & Cruelty Free)

May 27, 2020 By Penny

I found this vintage Terminator 2: Battle Across Time t-shirt recently from All American Vintage on Instagram, and I was inspired to do a makeup look to match the fiery graphics on the t-shirt. Terminator was one of the first R-rated movies I saw as a kid, and I fell in love with it–I adore sci-fi and horror!

I saw The Terminator 2: Battle Across Time show at Universal Studios many times over the years, and it was one of my favorite attractions at Universal–it was such a cool, well-done show, so immersive and exciting. I was really sad when I found out it was gone on my 2018 trip (2017 was the last time I saw it.)

So I’m in love with this vintage tee, and I had to get it regardless of it being very big on  me…over-sized t-shirts are cool and comfy anyways.

For this look, I started with shades from Colourpop Orange You Glad and Uh-Huh Honey palettes as well as the Coloured Raine Vivid Pigment palette. I did streaks of yellow and orange shadows to achieve a fiery look. Then I added Lemonhead LA glitter in Electric Daze to my inner corners, Commando on my lids, and Rainbow Road on my brow bones to add drama and bring it all together. I really love how it came out!

On the lips, I used Em Cosmetics Lip Creme in Faded Clementine, which I got recently and have been enjoying a lot–it’s a really pretty shade, and the liquid lipstick formula is comfortable compared to others I’ve tried.

Check out all of the makeup details below (all of the products I used are vegan and cruelty free.)
