Throwback: My Lilly Kane Costume (Veronica Mars Cosplay)

I’ve got a secret, a good one.

A few years ago I dressed up as Lilly Kane from Veronica Mars for Halloween, and it was one of my favorite costumes I’ve done.

For the costume, I thrifted a white and green cap sleeve raglan tee, and then I ironed a Neptune Pirates logo onto it. I also thrifted green shorts like hers and used makeup and fake coagulated blood to create a head wound like Lilly’s. Looking back, I wish I had taken more photos because I only took a few selfies, and I didn’t get one of the full costume I wore.

I looked around for a shirt like the one I found for this post, but I couldn’t find one like it with short sleeves, but you could create a similar looking shirt by getting a green and white baseball 3/4 t-shirt and cutting the sleeves to make them shorter, then adding a Pirate’s logo.

Are you a Veronica Mars fan? What did you think of the new season? Let me know in the comments!
